Morning on the Farm | Peterborough Family Photographer
I had the pleasure of visiting my step-sister, Lauren’s hobby farm in Peterborough back in June. She and her partner have a beautiful little lady who is fiercely independent in the most precious way. We filled the morning with walking the grounds, getting startled by the roosters cock-a-doodles and jumping on the trampoline (well, the kids did!).
I love sessions like this. So laid back and without expectation of posed “family photos”. I was able to capture little Morgan just how she is right now. I believe that everyday moments are magic because that is real life. There is more of a documentary-style feeling when it comes to this type of session that I absolutely love.
I will be visiting Peterborough in August and I hope to sneak another farm visit in. Lauren would like photos with her horse (not pictured, they were grazing in the field) and I’d love to capture the whole family in some relaxed family photos.

Sweet little Morgan can be a serious studier of those around her but I managed to catch a grin while she toddled around the farm.
